Join us the day before Valentine’s Day for an evening of tea and chocolate! Nancy Biehn of Sweet Gem Confections, the creator behind Arbor Teas’ delicious tea-infused confections, will guide participants through making tea-infused truffles. Nancy will discuss the basics of making chocolate and how best to incorporate tea. Participants will have the chance to dip and decorate truffles and go home with a box of their very own chocolates to enjoy.
The cost is $40 per person, and this workshop will be led by Ann Arbor-based chocolatier Nancy Biehn of Sweet Gem Confections. Nancy started her love affair with chocolate while living in Spain. With a passion for making great food, a love for chocolate, and finely honed technical skills, Nancy creates delectable hand crafted chocolates and confections in small batches using only the very best ingredients available. She uses chocolate produced by the best chocolate manufacturers from around the world who produce complex and distinctive flavored chocolates from single origins of carefully grown Theobroma cacao. For the past seven years, Nancy has created tea-infused holiday treats for Arbor Teas including Tea-Infused Chocolate Truffles, Tea-Infused Fruit Gems, and the ever popular, year-round Matcha Crisp Chocolate Bar.
